The new "Simple Button" on the side of the camera lets you choose between "Simple" mode, for setting the most commonly used functions such as Macro, Self-timer, Flash and Exposure, and "Normal" mode, for setting other versatile functions. In "Simple" mode, the size of the icons and figures on the display are enlarged, and the Digital Image Stabilisation mode is automatically set. Furthermore, a light-up sensor automatically illuminates the buttons on the back of the camera in the dark.
The µ[mju:]730's premium-sized 3.0-inch LCD monitor boasts a resolution of 230,000 pixels, offering big, easy-to-view images that are clear and sharp in bothshooting and viewing modes. Large-sized text display makes status and operation information easy to read, while Bright Capture Technology ensures images are clear and easy to see even at night or in dim interiors.
The 3X* optical zoom lets you get up close, even to faraway subjects, and can be combined with the 5X digital zoom for telephoto shooting at up to 15X
Now you can turn bad shots into good ones without using a computer. Simply press the "Perfect Fix" button to automatically activate the Digital Image Stabilisation Edit, Lighting Fix, and Red-eye Fix. You can activate these functions separately or all at once just by pressing the button*.
The µ[mju:]'s all-weather design allows you to shoot pictures and record movies with sound to perfection, without worrying about rain or watery environments.
