The SZ-20 covers a remarkably wide shooting range with focal lengths ranging from 24mm wide-angle to 300mm telephoto with the telephoto 12.5x optical zoom lens. It can capture big, up-close images of even the most distant subjects, creating high-impact pictures by capturing details that cannot be seen with the naked eye, such as the facial expressions of children in athletic or theatrical events or athletes in professional sport competitions.

16Megapixels Backlit CMOS Sensor

"Lower Noise" and "More Efficient Light Condensing" mean superb image quality at full zoom and also for Full HD movies.

12.5x optical zoom

Shooting at the full range of the optical zoom usually results in "camera blur" and "increased noise", but "DUAL IS" reduces camera blur "CMOS Sensor" reduces noise.

Full HD Movie

You can use the "12.5x Optical Zoom" when you cannot get physically close to the subject. You can enjoy Full HD movies with the "superior image quality" of a "CMOS Sensor".

CMOS sensor are also great for high-speed image processing so "High-Speed Continuous Shooting" is another forte of this camera.

Auto Split Shooting

High-speed continuous shooting of up to 9 full-size photos per second

Images recorded while the shutter button is pressed are automatically split into up to 9-16 frames, so you don't have to worry about not having enough frames from a sequence.

Hand-Held Starlight Mode

You can shoot night scenes without blur holding the camera in your hands, without a tripod

Smart Panorama

The SZ-10 features an expanded range of 8 Magic Filters (Pop, Pin Hole, Fisheye, Sketch, Soft Focus, Punk, Watercolor and Sparkle). Furthermore, Magic Movies recordings are available in Pop, Pin Hole, Sketch Soft Focus, Punk and Watercolor delivering distinct look and artistic feel.
