The camera incorporates a 14-megapixel CMOS sensor, a 5X optical zoom lens, the iAUTO function to set the optimum camera mode automatically, and HD movie recording. Together with the enhanced basic performance capabilities, these features allow the camera to record both still photos and movies in high quality. The recorded images can be reproduced clearly on a 3.0-inch, 460K-dot LCD panel.
