
The OLYMPUS PENPAL PP-1 is a revolutionary new product that makes it possible to share images with friends and family directly from the camera. When OLYMPUS PENPAL is connected to the Accessory Port 2*1 on back of the OLYMPUS PEN E-PL2 camera, resized JPEG images (sizes: 640 x 480 (default), 1280 x 960 or 1920 x 1440 pixels) can be transferred easily to a Bluetooth device*2 such as a smart phone, or to another camera with OLYMPUS PENPAL installed. No downloading, uploading, or computer required. OLYMPUS PENPAL also features a built-in memory capable of storing more than 2,600 desired pictures (with the image size of 1920 x 1440 pixels).
*1 For the present, the OLYMPUS PENPAL PP-1 can be used with the OLYMPUS PEN E-PL2 equipped with Accessory Port 2. It cannot be used with the E-P2 or E-PL1.
*2 Only a device that can send or receive pictures in compliance with the BIP or OPP profile.

Attaching the accessory port allows you to use external stereo microphones for higher quality stereo linear PCM recording.

These are the detachable camera grips optionally available for the E-P3. The MCG-1 is the same grip as the one standard as provided with the camera body, while the MCG-2 is a large-sized grip that can be interchanged easily with the standard type.

This remote control allows you to snap the shutter remotely. Configure the camera to close the shutter either 2 or 0 seconds after pressing the button on the remote. You can also use the remote to switch between images while away from the camera. Use it as a presentation tool by hooking upa camera body to a television, and remotely switching between previously shot photos on the TV screen.
