TCON-17X Tele Converter

A tele converter that enlarges the magnification ration to 1.7x. You can shoot without changing the camera F-number, making it possible to shoot in dimly lit locations and shoot with a blurred background while using a bright F-number. It is also possible to use a high-speed shutter during telephoto shooting. It is best suited to shooting plants (flowers), wild birds, and school plays.

  • When used, the optional conversion lens adapter needs to be attached.

  • When the TCON-17X is attached, be sure to shoot at the telephoto end.
  • When the TCON-17X is attached, the light from the built-in flash will create vignetting.
  • When the TCON-17X is attached, it may take time for the camera to focus.
